Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a construction laborer, where you will be responsible for labor and cleanup tasks in various commercial buildings. Your role will include removing walls, ceilings, floors, studs, doors, windows, and mechanical systems. You will also carry and dispose of materials into dumpsters and use brooms and shovels when necessary. You will be expected to drive to different sites to perform these tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform labor and cleanup tasks in commercial buildings.

Remove walls, ceilings, floors, studs, doors, windows, and mechanical systems.

Carry and dispose of materials into dumpsters.

Utilize brooms and shovels as needed.

Drive to various sites to complete assigned work.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift and carry 50lbs throughout the day.

Experience in manual labor and demolition.

Capability to work in hot conditions.

Proficiency in using hand tools and shovels.

Reliable transportation to different job sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must have steel toe boots.

Experience in working on feet all day and staying busy.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in commercial buildings, often in hot weather conditions. The specific site for this project is in Lansing at Waverly HS, with working hours from Monday to Friday, either 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 6 AM to 2:30 PM. The project duration is expected to be 4-6 weeks

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
