Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the corporate accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and complete the month-end close process for the corporate function.

Review and reconcile daily banking activity; initiate wire and ACH funding; maintain bank account signatories.

Review bank reconciliations.

Review and reconcile intercompany activity between corporate and reporting entities.

Maintain the fixed asset subledger for all operating locations; prepare depreciation schedules; monitor construction in progress (CIP) for all open projects; monitor and report addition and disposal activity; prepare monthly capital spending reports.

Assist in month-end consolidation processes.

Prepare account reconciliations.

Collaborate with the Tax team on maintaining property tax reports.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in general ledger management and reconciliation.

Advanced skills in Excel.

Experience with consolidation processes.

Hands-on experience with intercompany transactions.

Experience with Epicor and SAP.

Strong financial reporting abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting or finance.

5-7 years of functional accounting experience.

2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Good understanding of GAAP.

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Solid time management and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Exceptional computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes five days onsite at the end of the month, with a hybrid arrangement of working onsite from Monday to Wednesday and remotely from Thursday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
