Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dermatologists and ensuring high-quality patient care through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
Scribe information for the dermatologist during consultations.
Provide post-operative wound care to patients.
Draw blood and perform suture removal.
Clean and stock exam rooms efficiently.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar.
Assist dermatologists with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing.
Essential Skills
Active CMA certifications.
Several years of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse qualification is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology and patient intake procedures.
Experience in appointment scheduling and delivering excellent customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
Current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations.
Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
Work Environment
The position offers competitive hourly rates depending on certification status. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
