Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Concord, North Carolina. In this role, you will support essential financial operations, including managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and processing transactions efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while honing your accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

Prepare and issue invoices while verifying billing information for consistency and accuracy.

Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.

Monitor and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, or account balances.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Microsoft Excel to manage financial data effectively.

Assist with generating financial reports to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting-related inquiries and provide necessary support.

Maintain organized and secure records of all financial transactions.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles.

Proficiency in using accounting software, including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and resolve discrepancies.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
