Customer Service Representative

We're looking for a Customer Service Specialist - Sea Freight to join our client's team and play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and coordinating international shipments.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our client's sea freight operations, you'll:

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across phone, email, and internal systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues quickly and effectively, including escalations and exceptions.

Coordinate closely with internal departments-sales, operations, customs brokerage, and logistics-to deliver end-to-end customer satisfaction.

Provide shipping quotes, monitor cost versus revenue, and assist with customer reporting needs.

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in our service and freight management systems.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support repeat business and long-term success.

What You Bring

1+ years of experience in sea freight forwarding (LCL/FCL, imports and exports).

1+ years of customer service experience in a logistics or transportation setting.

Solid understanding of international shipping procedures , Incoterms , and customs clearance processes .

Familiarity with carrier booking , BL (Bill of Lading) preparation , and documentation requirements .

Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

Proficiency in freight systems and tools (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar TMS platforms is a plus).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
