Role Overview

Sodexo - Seniors has an exciting opportunity for a Food Operations Manager 2 to lead our culinary team at a new senior living account. We're looking for a high-energy leader who has previous culinary experience in a senior living or healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

be responsible for the oversight of residential dining and trayline services;

provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed;

drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction through strong leadership skills;

ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

What You Bring

have previous food service experience in either a healthcare or senior living setting;

have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;

possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;

the ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team;

Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
