Global Supply Chain Planning Manager
Position Overview
The Global Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for leading a team of planners to optimize, analyze and deliver best in class service for each product within their product portfolio- Hardwood, Laminate, Tile & Stone, and Trims/Accessories.
They will grow the talent required to meet the overall inventory dollar targets and service expectations in conjunction with the business and respective supply plan goals. This role is responsible for delivering results in service, inventory and cost-effective outcomes at the highest possible turns. They will innovate and improve processes and provide input toward digital systems to enable scale and business growth. Key interactions include category management, sales, demand planning, sourcing and suppliers (both domestic and global), as well as logistics to facilitate on-time delivery to our customers. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive view of demand on our suppliers and influencing Make vs Buy decisions through our Integrated Supply Chain and Manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
Direct activities of Global Supply Chain Planners and interactions with suppliers as needed in order to meet our customers' expectations.
Hire, develop and train world class planning team and recommend changes as needed.
Understand and teach the planning teams impact on company financials and use those models to drive best service at optimal cost.
Maintain performance KPIs in collaboration with Global Sourcing to drive supplier improvement.
Utilize advanced quantitative and statistical skills to analyze data, draw actionable conclusions, identify deficiencies, and inform decision-making processes.
Identify and collaborate with demand planning teams on forecast trends.
Develop relationships with key business partners/stakeholders to understand strategy and meet the needs of the business
Lead portions of the Supply ESOP meeting monthly. Participate in Supply/Demand agreement meeting within the ESOP cycle.
Create systems to maintain detailed lead time analysis (by Supplier by SKU by location etc..) and provide supplier capacity parameters to the Supply Chain Optimization Planner.
Monitor potential stock-outs and backorder positions and prioritize orders when needed, working with Planning, Global Supply Chain Planner, Global Sourcing and the Shaw team in-country to meet customer delivery dates.
Understand how each parameter functions within HSRP and the impact it has on customer service levels as well as inventory levels and warehousing capacities; monitor and update accordingly.
Influence Make vs Buy decisions in conjunction with internal manufacturing leadership and the integrated supply chain.
Utilize a high level of business acumen to understand the end to end supply chain and how planning decisions impact other functional areas within the supply chain.
Be the technical expert for internal manufacturing planning and exercise strategic influence in the Make vs Buy decision process.
Own and manage prioritization and required delivery dates needed to support new product launches by working with Sourcing, Category Management, Global Supply Chain Planners and the Shaw teams in-country.
Analyze supply and demand to determine root cause changes, shortages, and surpluses, and identify and drive course corrections.
Identify and implement innovation for continuous improvement within the planning department whether systems or processes.
Communicate with all levels of management throughout Shaw's enterprise to understand and tailor communication to target audiences.
Develop and provide clear metrics to upper management on the status of key performance indicators.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of international orders from Shaw subsidiaries. Direct prioritization in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain Planner, the Shaw team in the country and suppliers as needed.
Work with outsourced supplier's planning groups in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain Planners and Sourcing to develop and maintain a comprehensive supply plans that optimizes our suppliers capacity and meets our desired service levels and delivery dates.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5+ years of inventory/demand planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong project management skills; able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
Strong Statistics knowledge, quantitative & analytical skills
Customer focus, both internal and external.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in simple terms to all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally, both internally and externally to build strong business partnerships
Outstanding relationship management, confident, well developed interpersonal & problem-solving skills, a high degree of drive to succeed professionally, and ability to work independently but with the ability to know when to ask questions or seek support
Excellent leadership and ability to coach and develop and motivate a high performance team..
Highly effective people and team member skills in handling conflict management..
Work shift will need to accommodate direct communication with international suppliers and Shaw locations outside of the United States.
Preferences
APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification(s) preferred.
Experience with Tableau and other analytics/visualization tools
