SAIC is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Bedford, IN.

Job Duties:

Tech development for self-sinter solder

Running lab experiments in support of mission critical tasks

Writing and evaluating technical reports

Assisting the lab manager in overseeing the local lab

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Skills:

Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical drawings along with their associated system level technical data package (TDP).

Experience with reliability testing execution and analysis (thermal cycling, thermal shock, mechanical shock and vibration)

Familiarity with System Engineering concepts.

Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan, and report status.

US Citizenship required.

Desired Skills:

Comprehensive understanding of all phases of PCB production including bare board fabrication, assembly, and qualification

PCB design with Mentor Graphics PADS Layout, Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer, Altium, or Eagle.

Developing and executing test plans for printed circuit card assemblies
