The Commercial, Talent Acquisition Manager will lead recruitment for American's commercial workgroups, focused on building talent pipelines, sourcing talent, identifying slates for critical and specialized roles, overseeing the recruitment process and candidate experience and consultancy on recruitment to division leadership and hiring managers. They will lead a team of recruiters and will partner with the business and hiring managers to deliver initiatives that will support hiring needs. The manager will develop resources to ensure consistent delivery of strategy and execution across all business functions and lead a team of recruiters who partner with the business to understand goals and targets, and recruit talent to meet annual recruitment goals.
What you'll do
Responsible for Management & Support Staff hiring to support the business, including vertical and market expertise, sourcing, hiring initiatives and recruitment process
Create a strategy for recruiting and deliver high quality and efficient hiring to actively build talent pipelines and fill open positions.
Provide strategic insight to leaders on recruitment status and performance
Oversee and participate in projects of varying scope, partnering with functional leaders to engage and recruit talent across functions, levels and locations.
Meet Compliance requirements for hiring programs
Communicate recruitment programs and metrics to ensure consistent delivery of strategy and execution across business functions
Leads a team of recruiters who partner with the business to deliver recruitment that meets productivity metrics, service level agreements and understanding of goals and targets
Partners equally with stakeholders across American, collaborating with business leaders, Compensation, Talent Management, People Business Partners and other functions
Develops and delivers enhanced candidate experience with plans and initiatives to ensure best in class recruitment
Responsible for regular reporting scorecards to share with leadership and other stakeholders
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree, ideally within a Business or HR concentration, or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience in recruitment in large, complex global organizations
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with large Corporate or Commercial roles
Experience in designing and implementing world-class recruitment strategies and plans
Proven results in hiring for corporate roles, preferably at a large organization
Proven results in attracting the very top talent in specialized fields
SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Analytically focused with ability to identify, research and report on trends using data
Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and able to challenge assumptions while providing a high-quality work product
Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, able to embrace change
Collaborative and comfortable in client centric environment with a commitment to excellent service quality
Ability to translate strategy into actions
