Job Description

The mechanical assembler will be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch. Each unit is custom-made, requiring the assembler to cut and braze piping to precise lengths based on customer specifications. The role involves working from blueprints and assisting in the assembly of the housings for these racks. This position requires significant physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Brazing copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch.

Cutting piping to specified lengths according to custom requirements.

Reading and interpreting blueprints for accurate assembly.

Assembling housings for rack units.

Performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and twisting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience.

Mechanical aptitude.

Entry-level welding skills are beneficial.

Experience in fabrication roles such as MIG welding on mild steel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
