Primary Responsibilities:

Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders

Provide psychotherapy treatment in an outpatient setting with children and adolescents for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods

Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field

Clear, active and unrestricted license (LPC, LMFT or LMSW) in the state of Michigan

Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of professional experience post master's degree providing behavioral health services

Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
