Serco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Management Administrative Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional services to the US Navy. The Data Management Administrative Assistant will be responsible for creating and implementing data file management systems, overseeing the implementation of policies and procedures, and ensuring the security and accessibility of critical records and information. This role will also involve assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations, organizing and archiving records, and providing training to employees on proper records management procedures.
This position will be a hybrid work schedule Mon-Fri with 3-4 days on-site
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain and transfer your Secret security clearance
In this role, you will:
Design, implement, and maintain data file management systems to ensure accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of critical records and information.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to support data file management, including security safeguards and access controls.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for records management.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, including data analysis and visualization.
Organize and archive records, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval and minimize storage costs.
Provide training and guidance to employees on proper records management procedures, including handling, storage, and disposal of sensitive information.
Collect and manage information from various sources, including public and private entities.
Recommend storage requirements and media formats for data files and critical information.
Ensure all files are accurately and routinely updated, securely stored, and easily retrievable when needed.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD Secret Clearance
U.S. Citizen
The ability to be onsite 3-4 days a week
High School Diploma
2 years of experience in a related field
Ability to quickly learn new functional skills with good time management
Proficiency in data entry and data file management, including experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to quickly learn new functional skills and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft TEAMS and Microsoft Office products
