Commercial Construction Superintendent

Pay Range is $70,000 - $100,000

Looking for a Superintendent with experience working on hospitals ideally.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in medical facilities and hospitals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of healthcare-specific construction standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee day-to-day field operations for healthcare construction projects, including new builds and renovations.

Coordination: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met.

Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to AHCA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards specific to medical facilities.

Safety: Lead jobsite safety meetings and oversee compliance with safety protocols.

Documentation: Maintain detailed site logs, schedules, and progress reports.

Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues on-site and proactively resolve delays or conflicts.

Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce a project-specific quality assurance and workmanship program.

Communication: Effectively communicate with medical staff, owners, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction, ideally focused on healthcare projects.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of AHCA regulations and healthcare-specific construction standards.

Leadership: Proven track record leading ground-up and renovation projects in occupied or sensitive environments.

Skills: Highly organized, safety-focused, and proactive in problem-solving.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications: OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification, CPR/First Aid/AED trained.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
