Adaptalytics LLC has an opening for the position of Sr. Data Scientist (Ref# SDS513NP).
Work Location: Position may telecommute / work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Duties: Responsible for data analysis including collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions and strategies. Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems and optimize processes. Present findings and results through data visualizations and reports that are easily understandable by non-technical stakeholders. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify new opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations. Perform data mining, identifying and extracting relevant information from various sources to support analytical projects. Develop Python code for various projects including data integrations, data parsing and extraction, data cleaning, and data modeling. Design and create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to derive valuable data insights. Responsible for data quality assurance, ensuring data integrity and accuracy by implementing data validation and quality control processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects and provide data-driven insights. Develop integration solutions that connect multiple systems with Adaptalytics and other relevant data sources, ensuring seamless data flow. Define data mappings and transformations to ensure data consistency and accuracy during integration. Design and implement custom APIs to facilitate data exchange. Perform troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving integration issues, providing timely support to maintain data flow integrity. Ensure that data transfers between systems are secure and compliant with relevant data privacy regulations. Create detailed documentation for integration processes, including setup instructions and troubleshooting guidelines. Collaborate with the data science and analytics teams to understand data requirements and ensure successful integration. Monitor and optimize integration performance to minimize data latency and ensure real-time data availability.
Requirements: This position requires a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Data Analyst or related experience. Position requires 6 months of experience with data analysis and data mining. 40hrs/week.
