Work EnvironmentThis is a business casual, corporate environment with working hours from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. There is no weekend work involved. The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring office presence in Vernon Hills for the first three Wednesdays of each month. The role is part of our internal customer service network, which has expanded due to increased volume.Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience using computers to process orders, enter information, or update systems.

0-2 years of experience in a customer service role doing data entry.

Microsoft Office Proficient.

High School Diploma or GED.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated specialist to support our internal customers with sales order challenges, contributing significantly to the efficient operation of our customer service network. This role involves a blend of email and phone communications, with a primary focus on managing and resolving inquiries related to sales orders, including pricing, order status, and distribution requests.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-invoice assistance to internal customers regarding sales order challenges.

Research and track orders to ensure timely processing and delivery.

Contact vendors to obtain pricing and status updates on orders.

Expedite picks on orders or fulfill any distribution requests promptly.

Respond to emails and incoming calls from internal customers, handling up to 80 cases or requests per day.

Balance communication channels with 75% dedicated to emails and 25% to phone calls or follow-ups.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
