Position Summary:

Performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, production equipment, systems and other physical structures.

Position Requirements:

Maintains Structures including, Painting, dry walling, masonry work, plumbing fixtures, woodworking, electrical systems and fixtures.

Performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, production equipment and systems

Makes repairs to tools and equipment using hand and power tools/machinery.

Measures, cuts, bonds, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit up to 1-1/4 inch.

Ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired.

Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.

Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).

Troubleshoots and diagnoses moderate equipment problems.

Maintains troubleshoots and repairs facilities, mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.

Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Prepares technical reports to document preventative maintenance issues. Fills out technical reports to document preventative maintenance reports and issues, fills out and provides technical documents for equipment modifications

Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required.

Assists in developing methods and procedures to improve production/facility efficiency and workflow.

Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians.

Able to work with and support the needs of outside contractors on projects

Flexibility to working hours needed for special projects or emergency breakdowns

Experience and Knowledge Required

Technical school or applicable skilled trades program required plus 2-4 years industrial maintenance experience OR a combination of education and experience.

High school diploma or GED required.

Proficient understanding or training in Lean Manufacturing principles
