As a Software Engineering Leader at Ford Pro Intelligence, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation.

What you'll do...

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive professional growth and development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI Design, and Data Science, to define and execute the product roadmap.

Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Develop and implement engineering best practices, coding standards, and processes to enhance productivity and code quality.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team to optimize performance and efficiency.

Act as a technical expert and provide strategic guidance on architectural decisions and technology choices.

Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and exploration of new technologies and methodologies.

Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to align with business objectives and deliverables.

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

You'll have...

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and work experience

10+ years of experience in software engineering (primarily cloud)

8+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing software engineering teams and successfully delivering complex software projects.

5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, serverless).

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
