Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Roswell, Georgia to work in the Manufacturing industry. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will play a critical role in managing financial processes for a small yet innovative manufacturing business. The position requires a strong accounting background and offers the chance to work onsite in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights to support business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with operational goals.

Monitor and maintain compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.

Assist in auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data efficiently.

Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities to help meet organizational objectives.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives for greater efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end close and reconciliations.

Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software; experience with Epicor is a plus but not required.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.

Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and reports.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
