Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing team in Pulaski, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in accounting systems.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.
Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain alignment with company accounts.
Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring proper classification and accuracy of transactions.
Prepare and record journal entries while adhering to accounting standards.
Support month-end close processes by generating and reviewing financial reports.
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP for financial data management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and reporting accuracy.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Maintain and improve accounting procedures for operational efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
