Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Description

Evaluate patients and determine treatment plans.

Prepare documentation such as evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Consult with the rehabilitation team to select treatment programs and coordinate services.

Develop home programs to enhance patient performance.

Create treatment protocols using evidence-based guidelines and patient-specific goals.

Initiate and respond to referrals from healthcare professionals.

Maintain a positive service-oriented approach with patients, families, caregivers, and staff.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Train and evaluate therapists, and assist with the orientation of new staff.

Manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory.

Commit to reducing costs and improving productivity.

Handle changing patient schedules and maintain positive relationships with the healthcare team.

Assist with Quality Assurance reports and facility reports.

Participate in program development, department meetings, and comply with policies.

Promote company philosophy and ensure quality care delivery.

Respect patient privacy, confidentiality, and property.

Celebrate workforce diversity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS, MS, or DPT degree in Physical Therapy

Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Mandatory Reporter of Child and Dependent Adult abuse training certification (within 30 days of hire)

Ability to work independently and exercise sound decision-making

Ability to accept and work with diverse populations, culturally, economically, and educationally

Must have a valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation if driving is required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $76413.00 - $114620.00/yr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
