Job Title: Electrical Helper
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Panel Builders to join our team. With open positions, this role offers a 4-month contract-to-hire opportunity, providing a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Join us for a first-shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays due to a busy workload.
Responsibilities
Build and wire control panels using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.
Utilize test equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters, to ensure the quality of panels.
Fabricate and wire control panels, ensuring wiring and location of control devices are accurate.
Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections and test circuits for malfunctions, identifying the root cause.
Label each wire within the panel for clarity and organization.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude and inclination.
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.
Experience in panel building and electrical assembly.
Knowledge in HVAC and maintenance technician roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with control panels and hands-on electrical work.
Experience as an electrician or electrician apprentice is advantageous.
Experience with HVAC wiring or previous work at similar facilities is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, quiet, and temperature-controlled facility. Each panel builder has their own work area for independent work. All necessary hand tools are provided. The dress code is relaxed, allowing jeans and t-shirts without the need for steel toe shoes. Music via headphones is permitted during work hours. The shift runs Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory Fridays after the first two weeks of training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
