THE WORK

Provide floor support to all assembly personnel to create an environment of Just-In-Time lean manufacturing.

Utilize SAP and other computer systems to manage material, work orders, Work-In-Process and completed assemblies.

Maintain accurate production status by updating production status reports for assigned programs and communicating issues affecting schedule and production to supervisor, product manager, engineering, and other members of the Integrated Product Team.

Ensure and sustain accuracy of Work-In-Process and factory and floor stock inventory.

Implement Kanbans, Just-In-Time inventory, pull-lines or other unique systems associated with material management to enhance manufacturing flow. Utilize and implement Lean principles to ensure effective material and product flow.

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Team player, experienced in a low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment.

Utilizes effective communication and organizational skills

Able to multitask and proactively resolve issues to meet goals.

1 year of experience in manufacturing

Desired Skills:

Familiar with SAP

Familiar with SOLUMINA

Experienced with Lean principles

Understanding of Cable Manufacturing processes

Understanding of CCA Manufacturing processes

Familiar with EPDM

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
