The One PEP Media Team is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Associate Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment.
The Associate Media Manager will provide paid media guidance to internal marketing constituents, helping lead the agenda to ensure the highest level of engagement between PepsiCo brands and consumers. This individual should have a passion for culture and our consumers, and how we can use media to bring the two together in a way that will drive business results. Responsibilities include leading and building brand media execution details, developing and owning processes to bring our paid media campaigns to life and working closely with Marketing Sciences to measure and optimize media impact.
Responsibilities
Thought Leadership and Strategic Thinking:
Craft and implement data driven paid media strategies that drive superior short-term media ROI, and long-term brand growth
Act as the subject matter expert and media lead for Jack Links and Marias Gamesa
Support campaign execution across Doritos, Cheetos, and Tostitos
Provide strategic consult and support for key growth categories such as Macro Snacks, our Hispanic Business Unit and the Away from Home business
Key deliverables include Annual Comms Strat Planning, Total Paid Connection Planning, Tactical Media Planning and Execution, Performance learnings and implications, AOP and BGS Support, and Test and Learn agenda items to drive broader digital portfolio learnings
Partnership/Collaboration:
Liaise directly across a breadth of external (media agency, analytics / measurement partners, creative agencies, media partners) and internal (Trademark Teams, Finance, Consumer Insights, Comms, DX, Foodservice, Ecommerce, BIS) stakeholder groups
Support and drive evolution to a fully integrated, collaborative approach to media planning across the external and internal teams
Support our sports strategy development both internally and with external partners
Develop and ensure adoption of standardized tools, processes and timelines
Media Analytics:
Contribute to building department trainings and media best practices to build departments media capability based on media analytics and learnings
Contribute to quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports, which are circulated to senior management and shared directly with Brand Teams
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification: Bachelors degree in related field (Marketing, Comms, or Media)
Preferred: Masters degree preferred in related field
Work Experience
3-4 years of relevant marketing and/or media experience
2+ years of media experience across budgeting, planning, strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement

Candidate must be passionate about digital media and data driven marketing
Candidate must have experience leading in a highly dynamic, data driven environment
Experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience working with cross functional teams and track record of success in effectively managing agency partners
The candidate must be immersed in digital culture, familiar with emerging trends and technologies
Must demonstrate professional maturity - ability to manage up/down, strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal/external senior leaders
