Ping Identity is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance Manager to join
the Strategic Finance team. This role will report to the Director of Strategic
Finance and be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making across the
organization, with a focus on M&A, capital deployment, and
profitability analyses tied to new product initiatives. This position will be
highly cross-functional in nature and routinely partner with all corners of
the business to accelerate and advance strategic priorities.
You will:
Build and maintain complex financial models to support prospective M&A
transactions, acting as finance lead in analytical efforts encompassing
valuation, return profile, accretion/dilution and sensitivity analyses
Provide comprehensive financial support to Product and Business Ops teams
across all stages of the M&A lifecycle, including early stage
due-diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches, market or
product expansion efforts, and financial evaluation of build/buy/partner
scenarios
Develop a streamlined capital deployment framework that prioritizes ROI,
enabling rapid decision-making while maintaining rigorous financial due
diligence that ensures attainment of investment profile
Supplement existing finance efforts to develop a more granular understanding
of business profitability across Ping products, geographies, and defined
customer cohorts
Drive deep-dive ad-hoc financial analyses and support strategic initiatives as
needed
You have:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of previous experience within investment banking,
corporate development, consulting, advisory, or related expertise
Expert financial modeling skills with strong understanding of SaaS
profitability drivers and key metrics
Ability to translate the takeaways of complex financial analyses into
simple, actionable insights and content suited for C-suite level audiences
Ability to work cross-functionally with leaders across the business to collect
all relevant financial and operational inputs required in order to perform
holistic analyses
Experience creating and owning financial models to evaluate relative return
profiles (ROI) across competing projects seeking additional budget funding
You have an advantage if:
Prior exposure to technology industry with background in M&A, business
integration
Track record of strong performance working within fast-moving, matrixed
organizations with moderate degree of ambiguity
Experience in SaaS business models, metrics, and financial drivers
Experience using Salesforce, Netsuite, or Anaplan
Licensed CPA or CFA
Salary Range: $103,000 - $144,000
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085)
the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such
as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
