Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting business decisions through reliable reporting. Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Generate and analyze financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.

Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as payment collection and account reconciliation.

Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP for efficient workflow management.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Strong proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing general ledger activities.

Solid understanding of journal entries and month-end close procedures.

Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or SAP.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
