Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Scheduler to join our team in Manchester, Connecticut. In this role, which may transition to a permanent position, you will play a crucial part in coordinating patient appointments and ensuring smooth administrative processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset to support patient care effectively.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule medical appointments, tests, and procedures efficiently.

Manage prior authorization processes for patient treatments and medications.

Handle incoming calls, providing excellent service and addressing patient inquiries.

Maintain and update patient records using CRM and other medical software systems.

Assist with billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments.

Help patients navigate scheduling changes and resolve conflicts as needed.

Work closely with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.

Monitor and follow up on pending authorizations to prevent delays in patient care. Requirements - Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar administrative role.

Proficiency in CRM and medical software systems such as Allscripts or Cerner.

Strong ability to manage prior authorizations and insurance-related tasks.

Excellent communication skills for assisting patients and healthcare staff.

Familiarity with billing processes and related administrative functions.

High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
