Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and garnishments.

Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies with employees and supervisors.

Ensure payroll transactions comply with federal, state, and company policies.

Prepare and submit payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.

Assist in processing new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments in the payroll system.

Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy and data integrity.

Qualifications

2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or similar, and proficiency in Kronos timekeeping software.

Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

Experience with benefits, garnishments, accruals, labor, and adjustments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
