Job Title: Material Handler/Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to pick parts from the warehouse for the production floor. The role involves moving throughout the warehouse, predominantly on foot, to locate and retrieve required parts. Once picked, these parts will be transported using carts, forklifts, or tuggers to ensure the production team can seamlessly continue the assembly process.

Responsibilities

Pick parts from the warehouse for production orders.

Utilize a cart to navigate the shop floor while picking orders and organizing products.

Assist the receiving team in checking and replenishing parts inventory.

Operate a pallet jack to move materials safely and efficiently.

Comfortably walk up to 5 miles or 10,000 steps per day.

Receive training and certification on a stand-up forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6+ months of warehouse experience

Comfortable reading and writing work reports

Willingness to learn forklift operation

Experience in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for extended periods in steel-toed shoes

Forklift experience preferred

Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Work Environment

The work takes place in a very clean manufacturing environment within a large warehouse setting spread across three separate buildings. Employees will work in enclosures during 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, with hours ranging from 7:00am to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and 11:00pm to 7:00am, respectively. Overtime is occasionally required, with prior notice given. Employees must be comfortable working in steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.
