SUMMARY: This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment, working closely with accounting professionals on day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Assist with various month-end close accounting tasks (ex. journal

entries, amortization schedules, reconciliations, etc.)

Support the year-end close processes; including engaging with

internal and external audit partners

Help maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy

Conduct variance analysis and support budgeting efforts

Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting tasks as needed

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS

A major in a Business or IT field is desired

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong analytical skills

Observational and listening skills

Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented and organizational skills

Ability to listen effectively, respect others\' perspectives and

contributions, and offer and accept constructive feedback

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio,

etc.); Web proficiency.

Ability to clear the required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Accounting/Bookkeeping is a plus

Experience with Data Analytics

Experience with system administration

This position is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states, D.C.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person\'s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position\'s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee\'s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position\'s level and expected contribution, and the employee\'s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate this position will pay between \$14.42 - \$28.85 per hour. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual\'s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
