Description

We are looking for a Medical Staff Coordinator to join our clients team at a big player in the medical field in Portland, OR. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting scheduling and credentialing processes for medical staff while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the scheduling of medical staff to ensure efficient operations and optimal coverage.

Collaborate with various departments to streamline scheduling and credentialing workflows.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts.

Utilize software tools such as CRM platforms to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.

Assist with billing functions and expense reporting using systems like Lawson and Concur.

Oversee credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.

Ensure adherence to organizational policies while maintaining data integrity in all scheduling and credentialing activities.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Work closely with medical staff to address scheduling and credentialing concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience with medical scheduling or working in a medical setting.

Proficiency in using tools such as Workday, Lawson, and Concur Expense is a huge plus.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Background in customer service or patient assistance.

Familiarity with medical staff bylaws and regulatory compliance.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage billing functions and expense tracking accurately.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
