Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based on-site in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable tasks, including entering invoices into the system with precision and attention to detail.

Prepare and issue checks in a timely and accurate manner.

Match invoices to their respective checks to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Handle research and resolution of invoice discrepancies or issues.

Organize and maintain physical and electronic invoice files for easy accessibility.

Assist with mailing responsibilities, including preparing FedEx packages and ensuring timely delivery.

Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and share workload as needed.

Provide support in administrative tasks such as printing and filing documents. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

Proficiency in processing checks and managing invoice data entry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep accurate and detailed records.

Familiarity with invoice matching and reconciliation processes.

Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Basic knowledge of mailing and shipping procedures, including FedEx.

Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
