Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly aging lists, posting invoices, creating vendor payments, and reconciling monthly statements. Additional duties include handling AIA payment applications, time and material billings, and maintaining accurate listings of billings to be completed. You will also assist in maintaining certificates of insurance and ensuring compliance, as well as reconciling purchase orders.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed monthly aging reports for management review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Accurately post and record invoices in the accounting system, maintaining up-to-date financial records.

Process vendor payments efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.

Reconcile monthly financial statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Handle AIA payment applications with precision, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Manage time and material billings, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate listings of billings to be completed, ensuring no revenue is missed.

Assist in maintaining certificates of insurance, ensuring all documentation is compliant and up-to-date.

Reconcile purchase orders against invoices and delivery receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Essential Skills

Experience in accounts payable, particularly in the construction industry

Proficiency in AIA billing

Experience with SAGE and invoice processing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's Degree or higher in Accounting

Proficiency in Excel

Experience with SAGE Timberline and SAGE Intacct

Strong reconciliation skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
