Customer Service Training Supervisor
Transdev in Oakland, CA is hiring a Customer Service Training Supervisor. The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading a small team of Reservationist and maintaining training and onboarding of all new hires. This role focuses on team leadership, training and development. As a Training Supervisor, you will not only help drive operational excellence but also contribute to ensuring staff are abreast of new operational procedures and industry best practices. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides classroom training and/or side-by-side observations to ensure all employees are thoroughly trained.
Maintain adherence to developed onboarding and training schedule of new employees.
Provides remedial training for all staff at the direction of other supervisors.
Responsible for direct supervision of trainees and a small customer service team.
Tracks training attendees and maintains training documentation based on company policy.
Provide leadership and oversight for on-site workforce to ensure daily operational goals are met.
Manage timecard approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll policies.
Administer corrective actions as needed, ensuring fairness and adherence to company policies.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive operational and personnel matters.
Lead team briefings and focused discussions, keeping employees informed of updates and expectations.
Resolves customer inquiries relating to transportation; communicates resolution to customers.
Review daily paperwork to verify accuracy.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school education, GED or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of call center supervisor experience, preferably in the transportation industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer literate with the capacity to learn new software
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
