Main Function Summary:
The Loan Administrative Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative support to the Lending and Loan Administration staff. This position is responsible for answering and concluding phone inquiries, preparing reports, monitoring/maintenance of insurance reports and general mailboxes. Preparing loan modifications, completing account transfers and back-up for AA coverage.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must enjoy speaking to customers via phone or in person
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe and Outlook
Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills
Advanced ability to analyze, research, and interpret data
Job Description:
Essential Duties
Supports Lending Officers by:
processing account transfers
scanning/synergizing tax returns
creating electronic files
maintaining financial trackers.
Preparation of Note/Collateral Modifications
preparing electronic files
gathering information for processing
preparing/submitting Modification requests
corresponding with title companies/attorneys for documentation
complete/close request
Orders property searches, flood certification, credit reports, appraisals and other needed information to support Modification underwriting, approval and closing conditions.
Manages daily incoming and outgoing mail within the Lending Department.
Prints and distributes reports to Lenders. Updates weekly loans in process reporting. Manages the weekly late loan report and Lending mailbox.
Answers and directs incoming calls to the loan department.
May manage calendars, schedule appointments, arrange meetings/luncheons and order office supplies.
Monitor Auction sale website and communicate upcoming sales with lenders.
Back-up to the loan assistants for coverage while on PTO, sick or leave of absence.
Perform other duties as required.
