POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the Product Data Management (PDM) Team and day-to-day work flow within the PDM team to meet data integrity of items, formulas, recipes, substitutions, and employee/user accounts in the business systems for all LiDestri companies and plants by performing the following duties:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates with Product Data Specialists to ensure timely completion of all daily activities pertaining to the creating, updating, and inactivating of item master file records, formulas, recipes, item substitutions, and employee/user accounts in the business systems for all LiDestri companies and plants

Develops and enforces product data standards such as numbering, codes, and descriptions

Establishes pertinent protocols in business system for its best use based on knowledge of said system; works with IT to refine reports and workflows for increased efficiencies

Ensures completion of documented PDM tasks within the specified frequency

Investigates and suggests new tasks as they become evident. Especially as related to auditing of data in Oracle system in conjunction with other functional areas within the company.

Actively organizes and reviews processes for continuous improvement and assists with continued development of product data standards, procedures, documentation, and reporting to Oracle.

Provides first level of management of Product Data Specialists. Answers inquires, provides training in established PDM processes and procedures as needed. Assist with tasks as required

Supports the Director of Data Governance as needed and serves as primary backup for them when required

Interacts with other functional areas. Assists other groups with Oracle inquiries, setups, and specialized data requests

Provides representation of PDM group as needed in meetings, conferences calls, etc.

Coaches, mentors and develops staff, including preparing and conducting employee performance appraisal

Maintains employee work schedules including timecard approval, work assignments, job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off

Reports food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Completes specialized tasks and projects as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree and/1-2 years' experience, preferred or 5 years' experience in a closely related field

Supervisory experience preferred

Experience working with or familiarity of Oracle Process Manufacturing or similar ERP system

Ability to work with numbers, calculations with high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Ability to work with multiple departments and organizations

Must have very strong organizational and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with in depth experience in Excel

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Regularly required to sit, use hands

Occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with a potential of up to 25 pounds

Sedentary office environment

Occasional exposure to manufacturing plant floor requiring the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, bump cap, skid-resistant leather shoes, etc.)

Must follow Good Manufacturing Practice (hair net, no jewelry, no fake nails or eyelashes, no food/drink, gum, etc. in manufacturing Plant)
