We are hiring a Senior Silicon Supply Chain Program Manager (Technical Solution Manager), to join the team that manages the supply chain for Microsoft's own designed silicon, Maia and Cobalt. The Silicon supply chain team manages the launch, manufacturing and delivery of these silicon chips into Microsoft's datacenters.?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your semiconductor & supply chain experience as well as your program management experience bringing innovative chipsets to life. As a Senior Technical Solution Manager, you will lead and partner with cross-functional teams (business, finance, supply chain and engineering) towards product launch and throughout the product life cycle. In addition to demonstrating operational excellence and program management expertise, you will have the opportunity to create new processes and technical solutions as you build new capabilities for Microsoft own designed silicon.
Responsibilities
Ensure on time and at scale supply chain readiness for new 1st party silicon products.Trackwork, risks, dependencies, and resources against project schedules.Align new product supply chain solutions with overall business strategic objectives.Holdstakeholders accountable for following schedule using creative program management skills. Leverage partnership and collaboration skills to manage on time delivery and availability of resources throughout the product life cycle.
Identify, understandand translatecomplex opportunity areas and problem statements into business / supply chain requirements for the cross functional teams working on the solution. Deliver technical solutions through implementation. Build cross-team coordination and community of business and engineers to address the increasingly complex 1st party silicon supply chain challenges and opportunities.
Definesuccesscriteria and performance metrics for increasingly complex, high-impact supply chain solutions. Deeply understandoperational key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), and success measures (e.g., adoption percentage, engagement) for improving supply chain solutions.
A critical driver of change management execution across the silicon supply chain, including demand attainment, capacity planning, and process efficiency.Proactively mitigate risk throughout operations by leveraging teams involved with all aspects of planning supply, both technical and operational.Influence supply for critical silicon components, working closely with semiconductor suppliers and internal stakeholders by demonstratingexpertise in technology and business operations.
Representthe supply chain organization in rhythm of the business activities including participation in quarterly business reviews and weekly operations syncs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of direct experience in semiconductor supply chains as well as operations or factory management.
4+ years of experience with change management in a manufacturing environment, with focus on new product introduction and change management.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Technical Solution Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
