In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following:

Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred

Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred

Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred

Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required

BLS through the American Heart Association required

Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred

Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

We are open to training new grads for the outpatient PT role but prefer experienced PT's with outpatient orthopedic experience.

Our Outpatient Rehabilitation department supports patients of Penrose Hospital and St Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Through Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy we provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for orthopedics, neurological, vestibular, swallowing, cancer, & Parkinson's, along with a concussion program, and a vison program. Significantly higher than any other rehab within the CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we have a very large oncology, neurology, geriatric, and lymphedema population. Our team has a culture of collaboration that prioritizes patient success.
