The Talent Acquisition Software Engineering Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the platform supporting Wells Fargo's Talent Acquisition processes. The manager will lead Wells Fargo through a transformation journey, modernizing the Talent Acquisition portfolio through best-of-breed solutions and AI capabilities. Leveraging business insights and stakeholder relationships, the selected leader will help position our Talent Acquisition function for the future and make meaningful contributions towards enhancing the overall candidate, recruiter and hiring manager experience.
The manager brings current knowledge and future state vision for transforming the ecosystem, including its strategy, processes, and workforce. This Leader will manage, coordinate and coach team members and partner with stakeholders and vendors at all levels of the organization to identify areas of opportunity for transformation and simplification.
The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
In this role, you will:
Manage a team of individual contributor engineers, including engage in mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of the team members
Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third-party providers
Identify and recommend opportunities for developing functional and technical strategies for the domain, as well as the development of actionable short and long-term product roadmaps, by partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and experienced engineers
Contribute to resolving issues and making decisions regarding strategic products in support of business objectives
Oversee engineering teams to ensure commitments are aligned to strategic product priorities, and ultimately satisfied through quality deliverables
Interpret and develop security, stability, and scalability within key areas of technology risk
Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes
Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers, and ensure vendors deliver on their commitments to Wells Fargo
Manage allocation of people and financial resources in support of technology budgets
Required Qualifications
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role such as software engineer or similar role
2+ years of Leadership experience
2+ years leading or developing in Workday or similar Software as a Service Human Capital Management systems (SaaS HCM)
2+ years of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications
2+ years of experience with Workday HCM
Experience with both domestic and international talent acquisition processes
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher
Hands-on experience working on Scrum / Agile team
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change

Pay range from this role is between $111,100 to $197,500 depending on experience and expertise.
Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 from home office. Our leaders are expected to lead by example by work on site at least three days per week, on average.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
