Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the financial and administrative operations of our office in Westborough, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position requiring strong leadership skills and expertise in accounting, payroll, and office management. The ideal candidate will supervise a small team and play an integral role in ensuring the smooth functioning of financial processes and office operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and invoicing.

Manage payroll operations, including processing payments and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Supervise risk management efforts, including overseeing insurance policies and ensuring adequate coverage.

Provide leadership in human resources functions, such as employee onboarding, benefits management, and compliance with labor laws.

Monitor and manage overall office operations, ensuring a productive and organized work environment.

Utilize Sage 100 software to manage accounting tasks and generate financial reports.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial and administrative operations.

Requirements

Proven experience managing accounting and administrative operations in a detail-oriented environment.

Proficiency in accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Hands-on experience with payroll systems, preferably with automated tools like Paychex.

Familiarity with Sage 100 or similar accounting software is strongly preferred.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple office functions.

Effective leadership and communication skills to manage a small team.

Knowledge of human resources processes, including employee management and compliance.
