What You Will Do:
This role will influence the customer's forecast, plan, and execute events, and lead the customer supply relationship for a key retailer.
In order to achieve the above the position will be responsible for:
Drive collaboration with retailer (Amazon) to provide best in class Supply Chain through partnership, efficiency, communication, planning and continuous improvements.
Creation and execution of actions to improve on time-in full (OTIF), order lead time, consumption, shipments, violations and shortage deduction reductions.
Retrieve, analyze and provide recommendations to support service and growth improvements as well as vendor/retailer performance.
Evaluate and optimize the current supply chain network, including warehouse locations, transportation routes, and distribution channels. Model and analyze different scenarios to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve service levels.
Responsible for the efficient flow of product from supplier to customers, ensuring clear communication of gaps/misses and planning remediation.
Develops strong business partnership with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Physical Distribution, Transportation and Amazon.
Analyze KPI data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Provide insightful commentary and @context to the data, highlighting key findings and potential areas for improvement.
Supporting tentpole events with careful planning and execution to manage the surge in demand and ensure smooth operations.
Investigate and work with IT to resolve EDI transmission failures, mapping errors, and data discrepancies.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain
Minimum 1 years of experience in Supply Chain
High level of problem solving and analytical skills
High proficiency in data management skills- Expert level Microsoft Office Suite applications with an advanced focus in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
Clear understanding of relational databases along with a demonstrated ability to merge/transfer text files resulting in the creation of reports from multiple sources is desired
Strong communication skills. Must be able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership skills to fully develop and engage CSC team members.
