About the Role:
TreeHouse Foods is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing to lead supplier relationship management and drive performance across a defined product category. This critical role requires a deep understanding of supply networks and cross-functional coordination within the Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a collaborative, partnership-first mindset. As the Senior Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between Contract Manufacturing customers and internal departments, including Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Product Supply-ensuring seamless execution of priorities and optimal resource alignment.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
· Owns and manages the day-to-day customer relationship as the primary point of contact for the customer buyer.
· Proactively sells and customizes the company's value proposition to meet customer needs.
· Accountable for developing and maintaining an accurate demand plan and addressing any gaps related to the Customer Annual Strategic Plan.
· Owns all business input required for the creation and execution of the Customer Annual Strategic Plan at the category level.
· Responsible for developing and delivering the customer Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
· Manages customer contracts, forecast planning, and pricing; drives profitability and growth of the customer P&L.
· Engages with brokers to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and performance expectations. Oversee broker contracts, payments, incentive structures, tracking, and identifies opportunities for enhancement and manages the annual broker spend budget, including commission rates and incentive accruals.
· Clearly communicates customer needs and requests across the organization.
· Analyzes customer data (BI/Unify) and identifies actionable insights to drive positive business performance for both TreeHouse and the customer.
· Provides strategic and financial recommendations for Contract Manufacturing projects, bids, and total customer growth opportunities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute shared resources and customer plans.
Important Details:
· The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $122,600 to $184,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.
· This full-time, remote role is on first shift.
You'll fit right in if you have:
· Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
· Minimum of seven years in sales, manufacturing, engineering, or other supply chain functions.
· Preferred experience or project work involving various business disciplines such as purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and R&D.
· Proven experience managing broker relationships.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing unit operations and contract manufacturing development.
· Skilled in negotiation, project management, and influence management, with experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
· Exposure to new product launches and start-up procedures.
· Capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
· Strong problem-solving abilities with a solid grasp of supply chain cost structures, financial statements, and cost trends.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting across all organizational levels.
· Highly collaborative leadership style; adept at managing conflict and driving alignment in cross-functional settings.
· Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to driving efficiency and value.
· Experience with SAP is preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
