Summary
The National Account Manager will be charged with growing sales of Vac equipment in specific territories across all industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for 5+ National Accounts; with targeted annual sales of $10M+ Awareness and credibility within the vac market is paramount. Hydrovac service companies, O&G companies, power and gas distribution companies/contractors, utility and civil contractors.
Prepare and execute marketing plans within the territory.
Develop and drive overall account growth strategy; while developing and enhancing "Corporate Relationships"
Develop a Fleet planning strategy for your specific accounts that includes; Life cycle costs and data analytics
Focus will be on "new" truck sales; while supporting and growing Rental and Service growth
Set goals and Strategy for each National Account to exceed volume, profit and share expectations
Commercial Expertise: Customer; Product / Solutions; Market; Competition
Conduct market segmentation and competitive analysis to identify the best opportunities for National Account truck sales in a specific segment.
Manage the sales process from prospecting to truck delivery.
Develop and maintain all other "National Accounts" assigned to employee by Vac Product Manager and/or corporate officers.
Develop and maintain any other "Sales" opportunities as assigned by Vac Product Manager, and/or corporate officers.
Competitor and pricing intelligence and analysis.
Manage the sales process from prospect to delivery.
Attend relevant shows / expositions.
Subject matter expert for the Vac industry needs.
Travel to customer locations across North America to perform in service training for vac equipment
Other duties as requested.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will understand the North American Vac Truck markets. The sales approach should be collaborative. He/she will have a strategic sales process mindset and be oriented towards sales enablement and efficiency. He/she will have excellent analytical skills, be able to gather and digest applicable data, and develop deep understandings of both the financial and operational levers. He/she will have communication and presentation skills that can be adapted to fit the needs from the c-suite to the shop floor.
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED 10 years of relevant leadership experience in the Vac Truck market.
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Accounting, Engineering or Business from an accredited four-year College- Beneficial but not required
Working knowledge of truck specifications suitable for the vac industry
Knowledge & ability to perform cost analysis, create sales estimates and quotes suitable for vac industry application.
Knowledge of competitive hydrovac and liquid vac applications, upfitter companies and their products
Able to leverage Customer Relationship Management to improve efficiency.
An ability to converse / relate with owners, operators, and technicians.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Physical Requirements
The candidate must be comfortable climbing in and out of truck cabs, using ladders to access decks, light lifting may be required.
