Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative and results oriented leader who is responsible for end-to-end delivery of successful supply chain solutions for business development. In our FM delivery model, while we self-perform a majority of services, a portion of work is subcontracted, including janitorial services, landscaping and snow removal, waste removal, technical services and others. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from renewing and expanding existing business to developing multiple large-scale, multi-service proposals simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, client-facing leader who will spearhead the solutioning process by collaborating with sales, subject matter experts, operational leaders, and executive leadership to deliver compelling proposals that drive ESFM's ambitious growth strategy.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project management and prioritization skills, excellent attention to detail, and strategic approach and judgment in decision-making. They will serve as a dynamic utility player that proactively fills gaps in the process and addresses issues before they become problems. Client-facing presentation and conversational skills are a must. This position will often defend and articulate complex topics to a variety of audience members and will need to adjust style accordingly. The successful candidate will have demonstrated capability to develop supply chain and sourcing solutions, pricing and savings plans for the in-scope services. The candidate will have working knowledge of facility management products and services including maintenance, janitorial, grounds, mail room services, waste management, workplace experience, etc.
Key Responsibilities include
Anticipated travel is at least 50%
Creating winning, bespoke proposals that leverage the best of ESFM's supply chain and category management expertise, including subcontracted services.
Review client RFPs including spend, scope, and SLA information
Participate in opportunity assessments
Develop winning strategies in alignment with client goals and objectives
Collaborate to develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the client, including sourced categories, category strategies, savings commitments, service improvement ideas, and transition/implementation plan
Vet plans and proposals with operational, procurement, sales, transition, and commercial leaders
Communicate the supply chain solution in a compelling manner via written proposal materials, Q&A responses, and presentations
Developing achievable yet competitive financial and service commitments, and owning the plan to meet them
Work with strategic suppliers and vendor partners to solidify their cost and quality commitments
Flexible approach with the ability to pivot and adapt as more information is received
Influence the strategy to win in partnership with the self-performed services
Maintain constant communication with procurement mobilization lead to ensure resource alignment and seamless transitions
Contributing to the creation of industry benchmarks that enhance the competitiveness of the company's proposals
Leverage strong data and analytical skills to sort through large amounts of data. Ability to tell a story from numbers. Comfortable with data clean-up.
Conducting on-site data collection at client facilities as needed for solution design and detailed development tasks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, supply chain or related field from four-year College and/or University. Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience and/or training. Minimum five years experience in supply chain management or procurement of facility management services and supplies.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent excel skills is a must.
