Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Mattapan, Massachusetts. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, including students, parents, and guests, ensuring a warm and attentive reception.

Engage with the student and parent community to address inquiries and provide relevant information.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and organization.

Accurately record and maintain attendance data, including processing absences.

Support daily administrative functions by organizing files and maintaining documentation.

Operate a multi-line phone system to handle calls effectively and direct them to appropriate parties.

Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook to perform administrative duties.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Provide concierge-style support by addressing immediate needs and resolving issues promptly. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or front desk coordination.

Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone system.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness.

Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Skilled in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with visitors and staff.
