Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate a Modig machine, utilize FANUC controls, and ensure the precision of the first parts by measuring with micrometers and calipers. You will be working in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

Operate Modig machines and FANUC controls.

Check the first parts with micrometers and calipers for accuracy.

Work efficiently in a machine shop environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with Modig machines

Experience with FANUC controls

Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers

2 years of CNC MAG experience

2 years of experience with FANUC controls

2 years of experience with micrometers and calipers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CNC machines, particularly 5-axis machines

Machinist experience

Work Environment

You will be working in a machine shop environment. The available shifts are 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WICHITA, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
