Job Title: Setup Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Setup Machinist to set up and operate DMG MORI or Hitachi Seiki CNC turning centers. You will occasionally modify existing programs at the machine using G code or DMG MORI programming software, regularly inspect tools and parts to produce precision parts, and ensure your measuring equipment is accurate. You will also communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to management and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate DMG MORI or Hitachi Seiki CNC turning centers

Occasionally modify existing programs at the machine using G code or DMG MORI programming software

Regularly inspect tools and parts to produce precision parts

Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to management

Ensure your measuring equipment is accurate by using the standard in the inspection room

Perform other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.

100% of insurance premiums paid for by Butler Tool

Health insurance (Anthem)

o Choose between two plans - traditional and HSA options.

o The company pays 100% of the monthly premium for the employee and qualifying spouse and/or dependent(s).

o Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 consecutive days of employment.

Dental insurance (Delta)

o The company pays 100% of the monthly premium for the employee and qualifying spouse and/or dependent(s).

o Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 consecutive days of employment.

Life insurance (Lincoln Financial)

o The company pays 100% of the monthly premium for the employee and qualifying spouse and/or dependent(s).

o Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 consecutive days of employment.

Short-term disability insurance (Lincoln Financial)

o The company pays 100% of the monthly premium for the employee only.

o Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 consecutive days of employment.

Vision insurance (United Health)

o Voluntary - employee paid. Pulls from payroll once per month.

o Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 consecutive days of employment.

Up to 100% tuition reimbursement

o Eligibility begins after one year of employment.

8 paid holidays per year

o New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, 1 day before or after Independence Day (management's discretion), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, 1 day before or after Christmas Day (management's discretion).

401k with a company match

o Eligibility begins after one year and 1,000 hours of employment (must be at least 21 years of age). Entry dates are 1/1 and 7/1.
