Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to maintain efficient office operations and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a variety of clerical and customer service responsibilities.

*Filing work

*Answer emails/phone calls with payoff amount inquiries and contract work.

*This will require strong math and communication skills, and the ability to read and explain legal documents showing property interests (trust documents, business articles of organization).

Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence and organizing documents.

Handle inbound calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.

Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance.

Utilize computer programs and CRM systems to manage data and generate reports.

Support tasks related to personal property tax, trust, and estate tax processes.

Coordinate office schedules and maintain accurate calendars.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.

Contribute to the smooth functioning of the office by proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Requirements - Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience working with CRM systems to manage customer data.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for handling inquiries and correspondence.

Previous experience in clerical roles, including filing and data entry.

Familiarity with personal property tax and trust/estate tax processes is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
