Responsible for engaging with our flight attendants as we design, develop, and deliver flight attendant standards including inflight menu design, service procedures, and EFB functionality to drive improvements in the Flight Attendant and Customer experience.
This role is a part of the Inflight Policies and Procedures team within the Inflight Department.
What you'll do

Inflight Dining and Service plays an integral role as we redefine our flight attendant and customer experience journey
Interacts closely with Inflight, our Flight Attendant base leadership and internal stakeholders
Acts as the voice of the Flight Attendant while we look to design new menus, service procedures, and technology, driving creative solutions to enhance service
Familiar with AA Flight Attendant roles and responsibilities and any contractual obligations
Owns the Service Manual and is responsible for defining and maintaining service policies and procedures
Works with internal stakeholders on testing any new menu footprints and procedures and capturing direct feedback from our flight attendants
Analyze, solve and respond to Flight Attendant reports related to inflight service
Acts as liaison for Inflight Dining and Service and manages the relationship with our Technology team to help define strategy/roadmap and guide development of the flight attendant facing tools
Collaborate with various departments to address service concerns and develop procedures that foster pride and professionalism among our Flight Attendants
Work collaboratively within Inflight Dining and Service to ensure future deliverables are seamless for our flight attendants
Manages other service-related processes as directed
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
3+ years of relevant inflight and/or aviation catering experience
Proven experience with technical writing, software design & development
Project management experience with ability to lead, organize and prioritize projects with stakeholders
Ability to travel, up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Flight Attendant experience preferred
Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
Strong communication skills with ability to effectively interact and present to both Flight Attendants and leaders
Ability to be creative and analytical, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to manage workloads with changing priorities, limited direction, and ease
Ability to concisely present work to internal and external parties
Ability to organize, lead, and plan projects
