Marketing Project Manager Sr
Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week at our Tampa, FL location.
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible to support Group Retiree Solutions member marketing communications through delivery of strategy and project leadership.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Project manage and act as content expert for the annual review, update and vendor programming of complex, CMS-mandated member communications (i.e., Welcome Guide, Custom materials)
Lead scope discovery and messaging strategy sessions, serving as strategic counsel for communications deliverables, including drafting, writing and proposing appropriate alternatives for digital and printed content
Uncover and manage requirements for large-scale digital and print initiatives, such as new client/product implementations, geographic expansions, rebranding efforts, and rebids using contract and proposal language, strategic goals and best practices.
Develop and manage project schedules, timelines and budgets
Effectively collaborate with subject matter experts, internal and external staff, designers and other writers to ensure functional specifications and requirements are met
Effectively use data (in Excel or other formats) to build business cases, execute large-scale mailings under multiple brands with complex requirements, and catalog or program communications metadata for vendor and fulfillment execution
Collaborates with a large group of stakeholders across Marketing to ensure functional specifications and requirement documents are met.
May liaise with external clients, and internal or external creative agency partners.
Serve as primary point of contact during the lifecycle of the project and collaborate to resolve cross-functional issues, develop mitigation plans, and identify/escalate risks.
Present project status to department, project and/or other functional area leadership.
Lead or participate in internal process improvement initiatives related to increasing efficiencies, cutting costs, etc.
Serves as a mentor for others.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience must include developing complex communications from inception to fulfillment.
Experience presenting and leading internal or external clients through the development of communications, requirements and project plans is required.
Prior experience in communications/marketing in a health care environment preferred.
Prior experience in Medicare or Group Medicare is preferred.
Experience working within a highly regulated environment (CMS/DOI) that involves following extensive legal and federal regulatory requirements is required.
