The DashPass Finance & Strategy team accelerates the growth of our business by partnering with teams across the DashPass organization to assess the profitability and scalability of initiatives, influence business decisions, and ensure that the cross-functional team is focused on the highest-impact problems. We're looking for people who can model the future, think through nuances and dependencies, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.
About the Role
We are looking for an Associate who will work with partners across DashPass to ensure we are making efficient, data-driven decisions. You will partner with teams across the business to support financial decisions that involve one of our various products by evaluating efficiency and developing innovative strategies to drive subscriber growth and product adoption.
Coverage: This candidate will help manage the US Subscription BU with the primary focus areas of (1) new & existing DashPass subscription benefits and (2) new subscriber acquisition & early life subscription retention. This position plays a vital role in building a strong foundation for DashPass which currently has 15M+ paid subscribers. This candidate will work closely with the S&O team in identifying net new benefits to improve retention, building models to help us assess ROI of our investments in the short term and long term, and creating a foundational framework that will guide strategic business decisions.
Job Duties: (40%) Weekly stakeholder management & assessment of ongoing experimentation: building and designing highly efficient, accurate and scalable financial processes that provide insights into initiative-level performance; digging deep into the details to identify areas for optimization or gaps in logic. (30%) Ad-hoc deep dive analysis to uncover solution-oriented insights to better grow our business, utilizing SQL skills to create data-driven discoveries. (30%) Long-term planning (quarterly/annually): set intelligent goals that maximize long-term value and drive sustainable growth/profitability for the business.
Team: This team reports to Michael Wu, Director of the DashPass Finance & Strategy team. This Associate role will directly report to Ethan Markert, Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy. Key cross-functional partners include senior leadership on the Strategy & Operations team: Rob Edell (Senior Director, Consumer Engagement & New Use Cases S&O), Ricky Rios (Director, DashPass S&O), Jordan Caines (Director, DashPass Benefits S&O). In addition, the Associate will be working closely with cross-functional partners on the Analytics/Product/Marketing teams to drive consensus and strategic recommendations.

1-3+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector or well-established company
Experience managing cross-functional relationships is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and analysis, is required
Proficiency in SQL (or strong willingness to learn)
Proven ability to build financial models that improve strategic decision-making
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
